More and more the Vita is showing itself as a strong mobile contender. However, with it being strictly a gaming platform will it sell to Sony’s expectations?
Well from the perspective of a gamer, there is much to like about this device. Sure Sony locked down the device to 1 PSN account and continues it tradition of using overpriced proprietary memory cards, but there is a lot to like here.
In this trailer alone there are features that I hope developers use standard across the board. Such as cross play between a PS Vita and PS3.
Imagine that you are playing this on the go, connect with your PSN friends online that are playing PS3 and knock out a couple of matches.
I will hand it to Sony that they are making it much easier then….Ahem Nintendo, to play online with friends.
Hopefully once I get hands on with a Vita I will go more in detail. The PS Vita is already released here in Japan and will be released in North America in February 2012.
